Ship Brooklyn is the true story of Mormon pioneers - 70 men, 68 women and 100 children - who sailed from NYC to California in hopes to escape religious persecution. They were led by Samuel Brannan who was called by Brigham Young to take this group of saints safely to Yerba Buena. Asked to leave everything behind to colonize an unknown territory, this is a story of faith. This musical brings to life the joys and sorrows, trials and triumphs of these Mormon pioneers who settled San Fransisco. For most, their story has been untold - until now! Join us for a marvelous and enriching experience. The music and stories will move you, and may even surprise you. So, come sail away with us on this musical journey! MORE
